in a way that is epic, powerful, profound, and much needed.  He is going after the hearts of men who have long been asleep for lack of what they truly crave in life...the invitation and freedom to be what they were made to be.  Thoreau said “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation.” John Eldredge more recently said “Most Christian men lead lives of quiet resignation.”  Isn’t this true?

What does our culture truly expect of men anyway?  That we be nice?  That we follow a list of “do’s” and “don’ts”?  We are made for so much more. The kingdom of God gets no benefit from men addicted to self-preservation. Doesn’t your heart crave risk? Adventure? How about a beauty to rescue, or just a good fight?  It’s no surprise.  You are created in the image of your God, and these are the desires of his heart as well.

Alamo Band of Brothers is a small group of men whose hearts have been ransomed, whose passion for God has been restored, and whose purpose has been revealed.  Our desire is simple...to see God set the hearts of men free.

As a man, you are designed to be strong, passionate...and courageous.  You knew it when you were a kid.  You just need to be reminded.
